About the Product: Etokart P contains Etoricoxib 60mg & Paracetamol 325mg. Etoricoxib is classified as NSAID drug and is indicated for treatment of Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Acute pain, low back pain and Gouty arthritis. Paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic action. It is indicated in adults and adolescents above 16 year of age and can be taken with or without food.
Mechanism of Action: Etoricoxib is selective COX 2 inhibitor and reduces the generation of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. It has less activity on COX 1 compared to other NSAID, thereby having least gastrointestinal side effects. Paracetamol is more active on cyclo oxygenase enzyme in the brain there by raising the pain threshold and produce analgesic effect.
Indication : Moderate pain, toothache, nerve pain, fever, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Acute pain, low back pain and Gouty arthritis.
Storage Condition: Store in a cool, dry and dark place, protect from direct sunlight.
Side Effects: Diarrhoea, GI disturbances, flatulence
Dosage: As advised by Physician. Recommended dose is BID For 5 To 7 Days
