About the Product: Etokart 90 conatins Etoricoxib 90mg, belongs to NSAID category and is indicated for treatment of Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Acute pain, Low back pain and Gouty arthritis. It is indicated in adults and adolescents above 16 year of age and can be taken with or without food.
Mechanism of Action: Etoricoxib is selective COX 2 inhibitor and reduces the generation of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. It has less activity on COX 1 compared to other NSAID, thereby having least gastrointestinal side effects.
Indication : Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Acute pain, Low back pain and Gouty arthritis.
Storage Condition: Store in a cool, dry and dark place, protect from direct sunlight.
Side Effects: Palpitation, Arrhythmia, Dizziness reported in few patients after 12 weeks of therapy.
Dosage— as advised by the Physician. Otherwise as per the available data, following dosages recommended:
Osteoarthritis 60 to 90 mg once daily
Rhemutoid arthritis 60 to 90 mg daily
Ankylosing Spondylitis 60 to 90 mg daily
Acute gouty arthritis 120 mg daily
